Najam Sethi warns Afghanistan cricket players to maintain good behavior
Najam Sethi, a cricket official, has given a warning to the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) to ensure that their players behave properly during an upcoming cricket series in Sharjah.
In the previous year, during the Asia Cup match in Sharjah between the two teams, there was an incident where Asif Ali, a Pakistani batsman, and Afghan fast bowler Fareed Ahmad Malik exchanged heated words, and Asif Ali even raised his bat. Other players and umpires had to intervene to control the situation.
Sethi had a discussion with Afghanistan officials regarding the players' behavior and the crowd control during the upcoming series. He urged the Afghanistan Board to manage their players and fans properly, as past experiences have not been satisfactory.
Sethi emphasized that winning and losing is part of the game, and everyone needs to control their emotions. However, as Afghanistan is new to international cricket, they need to keep their players' behavior in check.
